For the Trades
For the Trades was founded after reflecting on our past experiences, awareness of current trends and our love of high-quality tools and passion for the people and trades that need them to be successful. We came to realize that there is a shortage of trained tradesmen and women and an overabundance of college education and student loan debt. We believe that the solution to this is to help plug people into the trades by helping connect to schools, programs and by providing equipment to ensure success.
Our leaders come from a background that includes some college education – education that prepared little for the real world – which is our motivation to help others to find the right trade, education and tools for success.
MISSION & HISTORY.
Our mission at For the Trades is to help you find an alternative path to college debt, student loans and a boring office job by helping you get plugged into a trade. Our goal is to help you get into a vocational education program for the trade of your choice and help you network to industry professionals for internships and jobs. Here at for the trades we have strong connections to individuals in the HVAC, carpentry, general construction, electrical, plumbing and other fields to help you find the internship that’s right for you.
